Avengers: Infinity War is finally close enough that actual humans who aren't part of the Marvel Studios inner circle can claim to have seen the movie. The film had its world premiere in Los Angeles on Monday night, and while reactions from that screening have already begun pouring in, most of the world is still waiting for the moment when they can actually sit down in a theater and take it in.

That means the promotional engine for the film is still running, and that means the Infinity War cast is going to be on Jimmy Kimmel Live! (which airs on ABC, another Disney-owned appendage alongside Marvel) all this week to have some laughs and, perhaps more importantly, share some clips. Kimmel debuted a full minute from the film Monday night, and while certain portions of this have been floating around YouTube as part of the film's international promotion before, there's a good chance you haven't seen this until now.

The clip takes place in the New York Sanctum of Sorcerer Supreme Doctor Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), who's there along with his fellow sorcerer and faithful ally Wong (Benedict Wong). The Sanctum is a little worse for wear (we haven't learned exactly why yet), but Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) have arrived to help out, and together the four of them talk through the problem at hand.

Banner, who has already spent some time off-planet (as documented in Thor: Ragnarok), is well aware of who and what Thanos (Josh Brolin) is, and what he's after, and he's come back to Earth to let its mightiest heroes know what's up. That leads to a discussion about how to solve the problem of the Infinity Stones (one of which Strange is wearing around his neck at the time) and even spawns a few jokes. Check it out:

We already knew, based on photos and snippets of footage, that Strange, Stark, Banner, and Wong would all get to know each other in New York sometime during Infinity War. This clip brushes quite a bit of color into that, and never eases up on the humor ("Stark Raving Hazelnuts") even as it's delivering quite a bit of exposition. It's not a clip that tells us anything we didn't already know, but it does give us a very solid sense of the tone of the film.

Plus, the Infinity War cast had plenty of fun with Kimmel himself, as the host asked each of them (Downey, Tom Holland, Zoe Saldana, Paul Bettany, and Pom Klemetieff were Monday's guests) to sketch a version of their character which would then be auctioned off for charity. Almost everyone does a solid job of it, but Downey — being the natural leader of the gang — has to upstage the whole cast. You can check that clip out below.

Avengers: Infinity War arrives Thursday night. The cast will be appearing on Kimmel's show all this week.
