Bruce Wayne is ready for action in the new Gotham Season 4 extended trailer, ahead of the season debut this Thursday night. The trailer is full of action (and mild spoilers), as it looks like the series is going to continue on the roll of the last few episodes of Season 3.
The biggest change for Season 4 looks to be a considerable transformation for the youngest members of the cast, as Selina Kyle takes major steps (and leaps, and kicks, and whip cracks) toward her destiny as Catwoman. Bruce Wayne, of course, is the titular character in Season 4's "A Dark Knight" subtitle, and he takes some big steps of his own, including the much-anticipated shift toward a costume, at the hands of Lucius Fox, who in the comics (and previously in films) has been his R&D and gear maker.
With the two younger characters taking up some of the spotlight, it doesn't look like things will slow down for Gordon, Penguin, Barbara, or any of the other older fan favorites, though. The Scarecrow's role in the early episodes should ... scare up some new rivalries and plotlines, too.
Gotham Season 4 premieres Thursday night (new day for the series, moving from Mondays last year), Sept. 21, 2017.
