Here's some astonishing gameplay footage to soften the blow that Batman: Arkham Knight has been postponed again until June 23, 2015.

This seven-minute, pedal-to-the-metal, high-octane crimefighting crusade should satiate even the most impatient of rabid gamers, or drive them to new heights of frenzied madness waiting for its eventual release.  The texturing, tones and shadings of the game's Unreal Engine 4 design are jaw-dropping, and we can see the love and detail that's gone into its delayed development.  So slip into assault mode, soar over the dark somber streets of Gotham and hop into the Batmobile to hunt down Scarecrow's horde of hell-raising henchmen.

Now hit the afterburner, then spit out a few nasty RPG rounds for the hell of it and tell us you don't feel just a little better!

Batman: Arkham Knight launches on June 23, 2015, on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
