The ratings were never fantastic, but ABC struck critical gold with the period-set Marvel series Agent Carter. But with the show on the chopping block, fans are ramping up a campaign to find Peg a new home.

A Change.org petition calling for Netflix to step in and revive the show is pushing 55,000 signatures already, and you’d have to think it’ll only keep climbing. The show's first two seasons were pure magic, telling a story that inspired people while also digging into one of the most interesting eras in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). But it never truly felt at home on a major network, and the ratings made that quite clear.

But somewhere like Netflix, where creative Marvel projects like Jessica Jones have positively thrived? That seems like a perfect home for a project like Agent Carter. Plus, with the addition of the upcoming Punisher series, Marvel and Netflix have shown that the deal between the studio and streaming service is certainly open to some tweaks and additions. So, if there’s enough of a push, it stands to reason Netflix could consider picking it up. Is it a long shot? Sure, but it doesn’t hurt to try.

Aside from the fact that the series is technically canceled, there are a few other logistical hurdles. Star Hayley Atwell is locked in to headline ABC’s new series Conviction, while frequent guest/co-star Dominic Cooper is now starring in AMC’s Preacher. Atwell has said she’d be open to fitting Carter into her schedule (it typically comes at a reduced episode order, anyway), and Cooper seems to dig his character, so it stands to reason he’d do the same if a deal came together. But still, something to consider.

If you’re interested in throwing your signature behind the initiative, check out the petition here. Would you like to see Agent Carter jump to Netflix?
