Ever gotten into a debate with your friends about which Star Trek captain is the best? We know we have. But the problem is, no one ever wins those debates, 'cause it's just one geek's opinion vs. another's. If only we could settle this thing once and for all. Settle it ... with arm wrestling!
While filming his documentary The Captains, William Shatner interviewed Patrick Stewart, Kate Mulgrew, Avery Brooks, Scott Bakula and Chris Pine, and apparently thought Pine needed some loosening up as the process began.
According to Shanter:
He's shy. So the way I started the interview, I put out a table and chairs outside the Paramount gates, and arm-wrestled with him. That was the beginning of my interview with him. I think it broke the ice, that's for sure.
Sounds like fun, but the thing we want to know is—which of them won? You'd think 30-year-old Pine would easily whup 80-year-old Shatner, but you know what they say: "Old age and treachery will beat youth and skill every time." So you never know.
We're looking forward to catching The Captains just to learn the outcome of that competition alone!
