It's been almost 30 years since Carrie Fisher sported a barely-there bikini in Star Wars: Episode VI—Return of the Jedi. The costume was such a hit that it became a mainstay at comic book and sci-fi conventions. Everyone wants a piece of it, even Fisher herself—again!

For almost a year (nine months, to be exact), Fisher has been on a public journey to lose weight. The actress and author is a spokesperson for Jenny Craig, and while visiting The Today Show earlier this week, she revealed a 50-pound weight loss. And during her interview, she let slip one of her top-secret goals: She wants to get back into Leia's metal bikini!

She jokingly said she'd love to put it on and just walk around the house in it. She'd even answer the door and surprise guests with her ensemble. We're not sure if she'll actually do it, but anything is possible.

Check out the interview below.

Did you see how Valerie Bertinelli looked when she wore a two-piece on the cover of People magazine? She looked fantastic! She and Fisher are around the same age, and we could see her pulling it off.
