Today SYFY finally revealed the title and plot of the third installment of their horror anthology series, Channel Zero.
Channel Zero: Butcher's Block is based on the creepypasta tale "Search and Rescue Woods" by Kerry Hammond. The premise: Alice moves to a new city, where she learns about a series of disappearances, all revolving around mysterious staircases that appear in some of the worst neighborhoods. She teams with her schizophrenic older sister, Zoe, and a retired journalist to uncover the truth about what is going on.
Starring in Butcher's Block are Olivia Luccardi (It Follows), Holland Roden (Teen Wolf), Rutger Hauer (Blade Runner), and Brandon Scott (Blair Witch). Nick Antosca returns to write and executive-produce the series (which he also created). Newcomer Arkasha Stevenson will direct all episodes.
Channel Zero has proven to be quite popular, having been picked up for at least one more installment after Butcher's Block. The final episode of installment two, No-End House, airs tonight on SYFY. Butcher's Block is coming to the network in early 2018. Check out the teaser below, and let us know if you think it looks al dante.
