One of Hollywood's most beloved character actors, Michael Parks, passed away Wednesday at the age of 77.

Parks' career spans close to 60 years. He started on television in shows like Gunsmoke and The Untouchables and worked almost every year up until his death, with roles in classic favorites throughout the decades like Ironside, Fantasy Island, Murder She Wrote and Twin Peaks.

In the mid-'90s, Park's career path would shift toward movies after being cast in Robert Rodriguez's From Dusk 'til Dawn.
