Fans of the Halliwell (and Matthews) sisters, rejoice! There’s finally a 10th season of Charmed coming our way.

Via a brand-new run of comic books.

Yep, the magical trio of sisters Piper, Phoebe and half-sister Page will be back for a tenth “season” in comic-book form, a la Buffy and Angel in the fall.

The relaunch of Charmed's newest season will be undertaken by publisher Zenoscope Entertainment. They'd previously published the first 24 issues, which made up the bulk of the ninth season, running from June 2010 to September 2012.

Zenoscope editor-in-chief Ralph Tedesco said:

“I’m so glad to announce this news. Charmed fans are an extremely rabid and loyal group. They write us all the time, asking about Season 10 since it’s been almost two years since the last issue was released. We’re happy to let them all know that it’s been worth the wait — we’re coming back with a brand new arc and a ton of surprises that we feel will absolutely satisfy hardcore Charmed fans, while also appealing to new readers.”

You’ll be able to get your hands on the first issue of season 10 at New York Comic Con the weekend of Oct. 9. Paul Ruditis -- the original comic-book series writer -- will edit the series, while Zenoscope writer Pat Shand (Angel, Robyn Hood) will pen the newest season's arc. The art team will be announced next month.

Are you looking forward to season 10 of Charmed -- even if it's in comic-book form?
