"This is not a witch hunt. It's a reckoning."
Now that original Charmed star Shannen Doherty has given the reboot her blessing, we no longer have to feel guilty looking forward to the new version. Which is a good thing, since we've been given another trailer for the series. (We still haven't heard whether Doherty's fellow co-stars Holly Marie Combs or Alyssa Milano have yet warmed to the upcoming series.)
Charmed focuses on three sisters (Madeleine Mantock, Melonie Diaz, and Sarah Jeffery) who discover that they possess magical abilities after the mysterious death of their mother (Valerie Cruz). In the new "Sisterhood" trailer released today, the sisters come to terms with who they are and what their legacy is.
As Mel (Diaz) says: "Throughout history, strong women were called witches, and they are. We. Are. This is our legacy."

Co-developed by Jennie Snyder Urman (Jane the Virgin), the reboot will be a modern update that reflects today's world.
Charmed is set to debut on The CW on Oct. 14.
