How far would you go to get revenge on the men who killed your family? Well, Miranda Coler would go to the afterlife and back — repeatedly.

In BOOM! Studios' new series Death Be Damned, dying isn't as permanent as it seems in the wild west, thanks to a strange undertaker who's traveled the world studying every religion he can find. He'll help the single-minded Miranda on her quest to track down the seven men that laid her family and their home to waste.

This new weird western comes from the inseparable and impossibly-named writer duo Ben Acker and Ben Blacker of Thrilling Adventure Hour and Deadpool V. Gambit, Andrew Miller, co-creator of The Secret Circle, and artist Hannah Christenson (Jim Henson’s The Storyteller: Dragons). The four-issue miniseries is set to debut on February 8 and we've got a preview that'll knock you dead. Here's the official synopsis:

- Seven outlaws have killed Miranda Coler and her family, but her death turned out to be a little less permanent than they expected. Blessed with the inability to fully die until she exacts revenge on her family's killers, but cursed to lose a part of her memories every time she’s "killed," Miranda will need the help of Joseph Murray, an undertaker dabbling in necromancy hoping to bring back his wife, if Miranda's ever to find peace.
