A premiere trailer for director Matt Winn’s creepy horror movie The Hoarder has made its way online.
The movie stars Mischa Barton (The O.C.) as Ella, a young woman who’s about to get more than what she bargained for when she finds out that her Wall Street banker boyfriend is renting a secret storage unit (which makes her think he's having a secret affair) and decides to go snoop around. Now, that's always a very bad idea.
The movie also stars Robert Knepper (Prison Break, Heroes), Emily Atack (The Inbetweeners), Charlotte Salt (Bedlam, The Musketeers) and Valene Kane (The Fall). It actually had its world premiere at the 2015 Glasgow Fright Fest on Feb. 27 (yep, that was a year ago) but will finally be released here via RLJ Entertainment on DVD and Digital on April 5. Check it out:
Here’s the synopsis:
Ella (Barton) sneaks off one night to snoop through her fiancée’s storage unit on the seedy outskirts of town. But deep in the lower levels of the warehouse, Ella and a half dozen storage unit customers discover there’s more than old furniture and memorabilia being locked away here. A relentless psychopath has started his own “collection,” and unless Ella and the others can survive the blood-soaked rampage of the Hoarder, and find a way out of the maze-like building, they’ll never see the light of another day.
Makes you think twice about hoarding stuff now, doesn't it? Will you check out The Hoarder on April 5?
