Frank Milller's The Dark Knight Returns is what lured me into the comic book realm in the mid-'80s and instilled in me a profound sense of what the medium could evoke and inspire.  The image of a grizzled, burnt-out Bruce Wayne standing in the glare of a Gotham streetlight while surrounded by punks, a vicious gleam in his eyes while he welcomes the violence he so yearns for in middle-aged retirement is one seared indelibly into my brain.  Just in time for that seminal graphic novel's 30th anniversary comes this grimacing Dark Knight collector statue from Prime 1 Studio.  Cast in premium polystone and detailed to gritty perfection, Batman stands in post-combat posture, bloodied, torn and scarred from his epic rumble with the Mutants.

But perfection doesn't come cheap, and packaged with a sniper rifle, batarang, alternate gauntlet arms and normal head sculpt, this fierce, 33-inch fellow will set you back $969.  Prime 1 Studio is offering two versions of their hulking hero, one with a third relaxed portrait and swappable hand with multiple batarangs in an edition of 800, and a regular edition of 1500.  Both are priced the same, come with a custom stone base carved with the defeated Mutant leader and are available for pre-order now for delivery in summer of 2017.

Have a peek at this imposing Dark Knight statue in the full gallery below and tell us if you're willing to pony up a cool $1000 to grab one.
