After much waiting, we've finally seen our first little snippets from the upcoming second part of Doctor Who's season six, and what we saw looked pretty darn cool, a bit spooky, and funny as heck.
Yep, that trailer's a bit strange (as you'll see): But that's only because the great people over at Doctor Who TV took that itsy-bitsy, teeny-weeny short bit of Doctor Who that was part of a new, longer "Original British Drama" trailer from the BBC, and then proceeded to slow it down so we could see those awesome Doctor Who scenes better.
While we're completely wowed by Amy Pond's (Karen Gillan) newfound ninja/samurai-like fighting skills (she did get to do some sword fighting in "The Curse of the Black Spot," even if she was a clone), it's that little exchange between returning fan favorite Craig Owens (James Corden, "The Lodger") and the Doctor (Matt Smith)—while the two of them are getting a bit too close for comfort, if you ask us—that had us almost choke on our coffee with laughter:
Craig: "Doctor, are you going to kiss me?"
The Doctor: "Yes, Craig. Yes I am."
(Notice the exchange takes place while the Doctor's
fondling playing with his sonic screwdriver's settings. Absolutely. Brilliantly. Priceless.)
What do you think?
