Apparently Unkar Plutt played a slightly larger role in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and this deleted scene reveals his ill-fated run in with Chewbacca.

If you'll remember, Unkar Plutt was the trader in Rey's village on Jakku who offers her a boatload of rations for BB-8. Well, he apparently popped back up after Rey meets up with Han and Chewbacca, threatening Rey and trying to kidnap her.

You know, until Chewbacca spots these shenanigans and shuts them down by literally ripping Plutt’s arm from its socket and throwing it across the room. Don’t mess with them Wookiees, y’all.

The scene is an interesting peek into what director J.J. Abrams originally had planned for the character, and considering he got a decent bit of publicity in the lead-up to the film (and he's played by Abrams' pal Simon Pegg), it makes sense that Plutt played a slightly larger role in the original film. The scene must've also been cut relatively late in the game, since Plutt is rendered (in relatively simple CGI, but still).
