Can someone please call Christopher Nolan? We've got a video he needs to see. Because an animator/compositor named Doğan Can Gündoğdu has created an amazing opening credits sequence fit for The Dark Knight Rises.

The video doesn't take footage from The Dark Knight Rises trailers, but uses candid photos against a newspaper backdrop. It's very old-school but still intriguing.

The music featured is from Massive Attack and is called "Suck Me Up Dub." Doğan Can Gündoğdu created and composited the sequence, while Günışığı Cihangir did the modeling and animation.

Hopefully Christopher Nolan catches a whiff of this and offers these two a job or internship. It can happen. Remember that guy who landed a gig with Steven Spielberg? He put his work online, it caught the director's attention and the rest is history.
