Picture it: Sicily, 1922 San Diego Comic-Con, 2018. I'm typing away on my laptop while sitting on a bench in the hotel where SYFY has set up a studio area for on-camera interviews. Some of our favorite genre celebrities came in and out over the course of the convention, but in this moment, I'm looking at a huge group that includes most of the cast of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, like Jude Law, Zoë Kravitz, and, of course, Ezra Miller.
Miller always brings it to SDCC. "It" can mean many things. In 2016, it was Gandalf.

In 2017, it was Ed Elric.

But this year, he gave the people what they really want: THEM GAMS, thanks to a sexy Toadette look, replete with thigh-high stockings.

When a celebrity unironically and without a hint of pander embraces the spirit of Comic-Con, it's a beautiful thing. When that embrace also involves silk and a massive headpiece, even more so. Thank you, Ezra Miller, and thanks to your perfect garter game.
