Sometimes it helps to have a friend who you know will be by your side through thick and thin. Someone who's got your back. Literally. Because they have a place they can nestle into on your back and lie in wait until you need to call on them to slice into some doors and crates.

In Star Wars Battlefront II, ID10 is that buddy. He's a seeker droid, and while we've seen versions of them before, in The Phantom Menace as well as the Star Wars animated series The Clone Wars and Rebels, this is the first video game where you not only have an ID10 of your own -- but you get to play as ID10 for one mission, helping Iden Versio when she's being held captive by the Rebels so she can make a badass escape.

ID10 is compact, loyal, and always available to zap someone on your behalf. Just ignore the fact that he looks a little creepy with that Imperial red-on-black aesthetic.

The good news is that he gets a bit of an upgrade -- at least as far as the overall aesthetic is concerned. When Iden Versio eventually defects from the Empire to join the Rebellion, ID10 tags along with her and even gets a spiffy new paint job, so now he looks more like the WALL-E of Star Wars than ever before.

Love ya, little buddy. Now, where do we get a real one?
