Chosen One of the Day: Julia's murder rainbow eyeshadow in Hellraiser

The last thing anyone expects to encounter when they move into an abandoned house is the skinless corpse of their ex-lover (and brother-in-law, I might add). But Hellraiser's Julia Cotton (played by Clare Higgins) knows how to serve looks while picking up strange men from bars in order to harvest the blood needed to fully resurrect her husband's brother Frank—presumably so she can get the good D.

I watched this movie for the first time during Shudder's The Last Drive-In marathon, and I still can't believe that no one thought to tell me about the real star of the film, which is CLEARLY Julia's epic eyeshadow.

The first time she brings an unsuspecting Mr. Lonelyhearts up to the attic so that a skinless Frank can drain him, she's giving us absolute pumpkin spice sunset realness that somehow manages to totally match the red blood that spatters across her face. Later on in the film, after she's been perfecting her pick-up game, she switches to this purply-silver blend that makes her look like a goddamn murder unicorn.

(The reason her shoulder pads are so big is because they're full of secrets.)

Now, I've heard whispers that Julia pops up in Hellraiser II, so I'm giving everyone plenty of time to inform me one way or another if her reign as the most stylish murderess continues. Your time starts... now!
