We live in a post-Jurassic World world. We've lived 25 years with the cinematic knowledge that maybe a dinosaur theme park isn't the best idea (but don't try to tell the movie people that, because they have been trying to make dino-fetch happen for a quarter century now and they are clearly NOT getting the message). And with that knowledge, it's easy to forget how sweet the initial idea was. Downright adorable, even. And that adorability comes courtesy of a little spritely animation friend named Mr. DNA.
This little Southern gentleman shapeshifts his way through an intro video and explains science for our tiny brains and, honestly, even after seeing all the carnage and destruction and at least one toilet eating, like, maybe a Jurassic Park isn't the worst idea. The little cartoon guy seems OK with it!
Even Dr. Ellie Sattler is hypnotized by the cute!
And can you blame her? Not when Mr. DNA is so SO-phisticated!
Look, sure, fine, people died, children were traumatized, whatever, but the DNA guy is super cute.
You know, I take it all back, he's sold me on it. I bet THIS TIME it's totally going to work, thanks to the power of DINO DNA!
