Say what you will of the Disney princesses throughout the years, but whatever problematic notions of needing a male savior have befallen them, at least they're generally less basic than the bland vacant-faced nothings they fall in love-at-first-sight with. Those chuckleknobs don't even get names sometimes. Snow White's prince was just The Prince like his dad was Michael Jackson or something, and Cinderella's prince was Prince Charming, and that's not a name—that's an adjective. Sure, some have fared better, and some have been fun and interesting. But there's only one Disney prince who can very actually get it, and that is Prince Naveen *smash, crush, croak* of Maldonia from The Princess and the Frog.
Prince Naveen, played by Bruno Campos, is a spoiled brat of a rich boy, but he also loves jazz and fun and is definitely down to clown. He can turn the grossest bodily reactions into a fun fact...
Or even a pretty decent come-on.
Throughout the movie, he and Tiana snark each other, fight, and fall in love, and of course he turns back into a handsome, ukulele-loving prince in the end (and a waiter at Tiana's restaurant! Come thru, princess-wife-boss), but frankly I'm into it either way.
Slime mucus and all.
