Put away the photos and trailers, we've got the first clip from the upcoming film Jurassic World. It's an MTV exclusive presented by the film's leading man, Chris Pratt. The footage features Pratt and his co-star Bryce Dallas Howard verbally sparring over the nature of the dino park.

In Jurassic World, Pratt plays Owen Grady and Howard stars as Claire Dearing. They both have a vested interest in the dinosaurs, but for different reasons. Claire sees them as "assets," while Owen considers them animals. Despite their artificial origin, Owen believes they're just as primal and dangerous as the real thing.

The clip also reveals that Claire and Owen share somewhat of a romantic past. It started and ended with one date -- they never made it to a second. This scene reads like a compatibility exercise. They're clearly opposites, but have an underlying respect and attraction for one another.

Jurassic World also stars Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Vincent D’Onofrio, Irrfan Khan, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, Judy Greer and BD Wong. The film's directed by Colin Trevorrow and opens in theaters June 12.
