Teasing its fans like its protagonists tease sleeping dinosaurs, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has released a few more precious moments of footage to the public. In them we see Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady hugging up on a sleeping Tyrannosaurus rex (affectionately known as Rexy) when her eyes open (presumably less affectionately).
While audiences have been promised a teaser trailer on Thursday for the sequel, which is being directed by J.A. Bayona, the marketing seems to be releasing it in 15-second snippets to allow viewers to make their own trailers. Debuting on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the clip expands upon a Thursday Night Football promo in which viewers saw a sleeping Rexy in a massive truck as he's being carted off. The added seconds (Rexy’s eye opening) don't add much, but they certainly justify any ominous feelings about transporting a T. rex via truck.

The Jurassic World sequel is also bringing back star Bryce Dallas Howard, who will hopefully make a much more in-depth appearance in the full-length teaser trailer (ironic as that may sound), so that the coolest lady being teased for the upcoming film is human. Also, what kind of shoes do you think she'll have on this time around?
Well, ones that'll hopefully withstand some serious molten liquid: Entertainment Weekly has also released a new image from the film, in which Howard can be seen facing off against a menacing dinosaur as some kind of lava deluge rains down.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom opens June 22, 2018.
