After you digest your loaded plate of turkey and all the trimmings this Thanksgiving, leave room for November's selection of must-have collectibles for dessert.   This edition's tasty menu has offerings in all price ranges and includes a ridiculously cool Robby the Robot, a stunning Halo Plasma Rifle, the best Power Girl Premium Figure we've ever seen, a colossal T-rex skeleton, one deadly Doctor Doom statue and a Sandman Chess Set for those of a more cerebral nature.

So, whether you're dreaming of your ultimate Christmas wish list, hunting down the perfect gift for discriminating loved ones or simply hiding out from holiday weekend relatives, enjoy every morsel of this month's Collector's Corner and save us that last piece of pumpkin pie!

This jaw-dropping Robby the Robot from luxury toy retailer Hammacher Schlemmer was created using the original blueprints, molds and templates from the 1956 sci-fi classic Forbidden Planet.   It's a life-size, fully animatronic, remote-controlled replica crafted with the utmost care and precision by famous restoration expert Fred Barton, the man responsible for the complete restoration of the original Robby the Robot in the '70s.

Built in high-grade Fiberglas with animated mechanisms pieced together using brass, acrylic and aluminum fittings, Robby arrives preprogrammed to rotate its head, twirl its scanners and spin its planetary gyro stabilizers in symphony with a kaleidoscope of LED lights and neon blinkers.  A CD-quality sound system delivers memorable lines from the film via a remote control, and you can even project your own voice through its array of speakers.  The ultimate karaoke partner!!

Of course, that level of detail and performance is going to cost you: Robby is priced at $32,000 each and comes signed and numbered with a certificate of authenticity licensed exclusively by Turner Entertainment.  For more info and ordering details for this 100-pound robotic replica, visit their site here.

Now take a peek at the rest of November's neato novelties in the gallery below and tell us which one you might be enticed into owning!
