Colony: The Official Podcast Episode 20: Co-EP and director Tim Southam on setting up the Seattle arc

Jun 13, 2018, 10:59 PM EDT

Surprise! There’s been a time-jump in Colony episode 3.7, "A Clean, Well-Lighted Place," as the Bowmans are now residents of the Seattle bloc. Katie (Sarah Wayne Callies) works with the refugee program, Bram (Alex Neustaedter) has an official job, and Gracie (Isabella Crovetti) is back in school. But all is not well with the family dynamic as Will (Josh Holloway) is disengaged with the family, and investigating oddities in the bloc at night.

On this edition of Colony: The Official Podcast, we unpack the heart-breaking moments, and how the new vibe of Seattle is impacting the Bowman’s, and the series as a whole.

Joining host Tara Bennett, SYFY WIRE's West Coast Senior Producer, is Colony co-creator/executive producer Ryan J. Condal, executive producer Wes Tooke, and a brand new guest on the podcast, co-executive producer and series director, Tim Southam.

As the on-site producer in Vancouver, Southam was the creative conduit for Condal and Tooke as he brought to life the look and tone of the Seattle bloc. It’s a master class on the making of Colony so come on along for the fun!
