Concept art shows that Bane's mask could have been a lot worse

When it comes to The Dark Knight Rises, Bane was a heated topic. If it wasn't his voice, it was his look—specifically that mask. In the comics, it was heavily inspired by those worn by Mexican luchadores (wrestlers). So how could they translate that without looking too campy? If you had issues with their final choice, wait till you see what could have been.

Back in July, we discovered nine rough sketches of potential masks. Each one was drastically different from the other. Here are a few more designs to add to that pile. Compared to what he wore in The Dark Knight Rises, these are much more constricting.
