Corey Haim, star of the 1987 vampire film The Lost Boys, died early Wednesday morning of an apparent drug overdose, TV Guide reported. The actor was 38.
Haim, who had long struggled with drugs, was taken to a Burbank hospital, where he was pronounced dead at about 3:30 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
In The Lost Boys, Haim starred in the sometimes comic role of a boy forced to deal with the fact that his brother was turning into a vampire. In the face of this sad news, wouldn't you prefer to remember him that way right now?
So would we.
