Last month, Legends of Tomorrow executive producer Phil Klemmer confirmed to Rotten Tomatoes that Matt Ryan would be appearing as John Constantine on the third season of the show. We knew that he’d be on for a two-episode arc, and that it would start with the ninth episode of the season. We also knew that Constantine’s story would include Damien Darhk. Now, we have a glimpse of the script cover for the 10th episode, thanks to executive producer Marc Guggenheim, and it’s wonderfully appropriate.

It’s a typical script cover (the episode is called “Daddy Darkhest”), but it has the image of a necktie and a lit cigarette in the background. Of course, both of these items are iconic for Constantine’s brooding, occult-steeped character.

Matt Ryan made his mark on the DC Comics TV universe with the short-lived series Constantine, which ran from 2014 to 2015. Despite its cancellation, Ryan quickly became a fan-favorite in the role, and he reprised it on the fourth season of Arrow in an episode called “Haunted.”
