Crisis on Earth-X: The first full promo for the epic Arrowverse crossover

Hot on the heels of the new pics from the upcoming Arrowverse crossover “Crisis on Earth-X”, a new promo for the two-night event has made its merry way online.

Super friends from The CW’s superhero series Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow will assemble next week for Iris West (Candice Patton) and Barry Allen’s (Grant Gustin) wedding, where the nuptials will be interrupted in pure comic book fashion by supervillains from Earth-X, a world where the Nazis have won World War II.

The major DC TV extravaganza will introduce twisted versions of the heroes we know and love, including the Reverse-Flash (Tom Cavanagh), Green Arrow (Stephen Amell), Prometheus (Josh Segarra), and Supergirl Overgirl (Melissa Benoist), and introduce gay superhero The Ray, played by Being Human’s Russell Tovey, who will also go on to voice the character on The CW Seed’s animated series Freedom Fighters: The Ray.

“Crisis on Earth-X” also sees the welcome return of Wentworth Miller, not as Captain Cold (who died in the first season of Legends of Tomorrow but still showed up in several Arrowverse episodes even after the character was killed off  —  thank you, time travel) but as the alt-universe superhero Citizen Cold. Miller recently announced he was filming his final episodes as the character we all came to know and love.

The promo reveals the Earth-X villains are in possession of a doomsday weapon and our heroes will have to join forces once more to save the people they love, and losing is definitely not an option. That's a tall order worthy of the Justice League right there. Have a look:

“Crisis on Earth-X” will air over the course of two nights, kicking off on Nov. 27 with Supergirl, followed right after by Arrow (which is airing on a special night, so mark your calendars) and concluding the following night (Nov. 28) with The CW’s regularly scheduled episodes of The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow.
