You may know of American-born Canadian director Vincenzo Natali from his first film, the horrifying and claustrophobic Cube. Well, he's got a new sci-fi movie out, which promises to be every bit as shocking and nasty: Splice, and ShockTillYouoDrop has posted a new clip, below.

The movie is a new take on the sci-fi creature feature, starring Adrien Brody (King Kong) and Sarah Polley (Dawn of the Dead) as two scientists who marry human and animal DNA to create a new creature, with disastrous results.

The clip highlights the, um, first dance of two genetically engineered creatures in a way that's repulsive and hypnotic at the same time, Natali's specialty.

Here's what Shock had to say:

This slice of sci-fi/creature feature cinema was shepherded by executive producer Guillermo del Toro and has been in the works for well over a year. It finally sees the light of a film projector come January 22. That's when it plays to Sundance Film Festival attendees for the first time.

Whaddaya think? We're eager to see it.
