What if we told you castoffs from Arrow and The Flash were making a comeback? Several fan favorites, heroes and villains, are set to headline an upcoming spinoff. The CW is working with producers Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim for another comic-based pilot. It's being developed for next season, and is described as a "superhero team-up show."

There were rumblings that Brandon Routh's character Ray Palmer/The Atom might get his own series once he's done with Arrow. That's partially true, but the character won't be alone. The network's also eyeing Victor Garber's Dr. Martin Stein/Firestorm, and Wentworth Miller's Leonard Snart/Captain Cold from The Flash. They're even bringing back Caity Lotz, who played the original Canary on Arrow.  If that wasn't enough, the show will also include three major DC characters that have yet to appear on a TV series.

One thing we've noticed about this lineup is the absence of Robbie Amell. Fans of The Flash know that Amell's Ronnie Raymond is one-half of Firestorm, along with Dr. Stein. Stein is the brains, while Raymond is the brawn. How can they have one without the other? Also, Lotz's Sara Lance/Canary died on Arrow, so we're not sure if she'll return as another character or the Canary. She's already come back from the dead once. Let's not overdo it.

Sources say the spinoff is being primed from midseason and could potentially be ordered straight-to-series.

What do you think of The CW's latest superhero collaboration? is there room for another spinoff in the Arrow-verse?
