Arrow's supervillain roster continues to grow. Tuesday it was announced that Captain Boomerang, aka Digger Harkness, will appear in the third season. Like most of Arrow's guest stars, the role has been filled by a Spartacus alum.

According to EW, Harkness will be played by Nick Tarabay. He "is a former A.R.G.U.S operative, highly skilled in martial arts and espionage, with a deadly thirst for vengeance against his former employers." Harkness will appear in the seventh and eighth episodes, with the latter introducing a Flash crossover. In the comics, the villain has been linked to both the Suicide Squad and the Rogues.

The Flash has already tapped some members of the Rogues to appear during its debut season (i.e., Captain Cold and Heat Wave). As stated earlier, Tarabay is known for his role as Ashur on Spartacus. He also played a Klingon in last year's Star Trek Into Darkness.

What do you think of Tarabay as Captain Boomerang?

Arrow returns Oct. 8 on The CW.
