Cyber Monday, Black Friday’s digital (and much more relaxing) cousin, is upon us. This year, you could hit up the usuals — Amazon, Walmart, Target, and other big retailers that, undoubtedly, have some amazing deals — but don't you think it’s worth it to think outside the box? We think so. That’s why we’ve rounded up 10 of our favorite Cyber Monday deals from the geekiest corners of the internet.
Check them out below.
My Geek Box US specializes in subscription boxes, but the site’s leftover Black Friday deals (thankfully applicable for Cyber Monday) feature plenty of deals of the non-box variety. In particular, we really love the deals on DC Comics Bombshells statues from DC Collectibles. This series has famously reimagined DC heroines as ‘40s-era pin-up girls, and My Geek Box US has a couple of timely statues for you to snatch up this Cyber Monday.
The first Bombshell statue you can get for $29.99 (saving yourself a whopping $95) is Mera, Queen of Atlantis, posed with Aquaman’s trident. And if you think she needs a friend, maybe this festive Holiday Wonder Woman, which is slashed a ridiculous $116, will do the trick.
Then we’ve got ToyWiz.com. Despite its name, ToyWiz.com offers a wider variety of products than toys. This Cyber Monday, take a look at all the comic books the site has to offer, some of which feature some truly amazing variant covers.
But it is, of course, the toys that really stick out to us right now. We love this mad Mr. Meeseeks plush for $4.99 from Funko’s Rick & Morty Galactic Series. I can feel the fluffy anger, can’t you?
Speaking of anger, check out this 10-inch Lex Luthor statue from the DC Icons line. This baby usually goes for $99.99. Get it here for $59.99. Then spend the leftover $40 on a tiny toupee for the statue.
BoxLunch is boasting deals of up to 50 percent off sitewide for Cyber Monday. My wallet is weeping, you guys. Good thing I can get these Game of Thrones wallets (or Harry Potter fanny packs!) for cut-rate prices.
The Incredibles’ incredible fashion designer Edna Mode is anti-capes, but is she anti-caps? Specifically, this baseball cap with her company’s distinctive yet simple logo emblazed on the front. Get it for 40 percent off, aka $11.34.
This year marked Cowboy Bebop’s 20th anniversary. What better way to celebrate than with this colorful mug featuring everyone’s favorite space corgi, Ein? Look at that face. You can’t say no to that face. Get it for $11.83 after a 30 percent discount.
The pièce de résistance of this whole shebang is undoubtedly this shadow box-bound Black Panther mask signed by Stan Lee. Yes, that Stan Lee. RIP. You can get this treasure for $1,400, which is 30 percent off the original $2,000 price tag. Excelsior!
And finally, we can’t talk about online deals without peeking at Etsy. A quick look-see reveals some fantastic, geeky deals — way more than we’re gonna list here for you.
First, there’s this handmade Game of Thrones music box, which is 40 percent off for $18.60. Get this adorable, Ukrainian-made music box as a holiday gift or just ‘cause, y’know, you need something to remind you that Game of Thrones will, eventually, return from the dead one final time.
If you’re more into games than television, check out this laser-cut Nintendo display sign for $11.19 (20 percent off). It’s hand-cut and has over 1,000 positive reviews to its name. Kinda seems like you can’t go wrong.
Finally, if you’re going to be an effective Guardian, you’re going to need a Ghost. So take a look at this customizable Ghost replica that you can have embossed with your gamer tag. You’re welcome.
