Futurama may have originated the “robot and human delivery service cartoon comedy” but Dallas & Robo is here to give it a little Southern hospitality.

The YouTube original series stars Kat Dennings as the space truckin’ Dallas and John Cena as her robotic muscle. The pair face off against cannibal bikers, their possibly unequal relationship, and hordes of other violent sci-fi problems that crop up on their delivery routes. They’ve also released a new trailer to give fans a taste of the Kentucky Fried action.

Take a look:

That’s a lot of explosions. According to a release, the eight-episode show will launch all at once on May 30, premiering on the WWE’s YouTube channel — fittingly, since John Cena is their career-diversifying draw. After the latter’s stint in Scooby-Doo and a slew of raunchy live-action comedies, a cartoon from one of the BoJack Horseman directors isn’t a surprise.

What might come as a bit of a surprise is how closely Dallas & Robo's premise gets to Futurama — though with many of the pop culture references sidelined for straight-up shoot-outs. We’ll see how closely the trailer is to the series when the show is released at the end of the month.
