If Batman v Superman wasn’t exactly your cup of tea, DC and Warner Bros. have been kicking around a much more fun version of the Dark Knight over in the animation division. And the latest edition has giant robots.

Dubbed Batman Unlimited, the animated film series is based on a line of Mattel toys of the same name. The kid-friendly spinoff exists in its own continuity and is basically your action figure fever dream brought to life. The newest film, Batman Unlimited: Mech vs. Mutants, finds Batman and Green Arrow suiting up in some giant mech suits to battle Godzilla-sized mutants.

It’s glorious, silly and a lot of fun. Plus, since it's in its own continuity, they can go a little crazy and still be safe.

The film is set to hit shelves on Sept. 13.
