Frank Miller's new DC series, The Dark Knight III: Master Race, was met with mixed reactions online when the cover art debuted earlier this week. What generated even MORE discussion was the cover of a companion comic, Dark Knight Universe Presents: The Atom #1. It features Superman drawn in a very unconventional style. The Man of Steel sports massive hands and oversized features, including his Kryptonian naughty bits (FYI, he's clearly called Superman for a reason).

DC co-publishers Jim Lee and Dan Didio, along with Brian Azzarello (co-writer, Dark Knight III) and Andy Kubert and Klaus Janson (co-artists, Dark Knight III)
