Artist and writer George Pérez is a seminal figure in the world of comics, notably known for his work on The Avengers, Teen Titans and most importantly (for this weekend at least) Wonder Woman. Pérez's reboot of Wonder Woman in 1987 changed the character -- and comics -- forever and for the better. That's not just our take, either, as Warner Bros. included many of Pérez's ideas into their new summer blockbuster.
We had the opportunity to catch up with the legend in the video below. After a quick update on his health, which is fortunately on the mend after some earlier issues, Pérez regales us with his take on the film. Though he hadn't seen it at the time of our conversation, Pérez stil has plenty of insight about the film, considering how many of his ideas were encompassed within.
Check out the interview below, and let us know if you think Pérez will be happy with Warner Bros.' finished product.
