Say what you will about Deadpool, but the antihero's grasp of pop culture is perhaps second to none. He knows more obscure references to television and movies than a Jeopardy! contestant, and it's a big reason why we love him. When he pokes fun at the real world (our world, to be more exact), no one around him has a clue what the hell he's talking about, and we, the audience, laugh at the cracked mirror he holds up to reality.

Breaking the fourth wall is Wade Wilson's bread and butter, so to celebrate the upcoming home video release of Deadpool 2, the character has invaded six more films by 20th Century Fox. From Alien to City Slickers, the Merc With a Mouth can be seen on select Blu-ray covers for Fox properties (perhaps soon to be Disney properties), which will be exclusive to Walmarts around the country.

This is simply a continuation of the "photobombing campaign" initiated in the run-up to the sequel's theatrical release in May. Assassin’s CreedCast AwayEdward Scissorhands, Fight ClubThe Good, The Bad and The UglyMy Cousin VinnyOffice SpacePredatorRevenge of the NerdsSpeedThe TerminatorWar for the Planet of the Apes, X-Men: ApocalypseX-Men: Days of Future PastX-Men: First Class, and Logan had already fallen victim to Mr. Wilson's presence on their Blu-ray covers.

Some might call it an honor, others would call it a pain in the butt. With six more titles added to this list, the official count comes to 22 limited-edition Blu-ray sets. In particular, The Martian box is very fitting, since Matt Damon had a secret cameo in Deadpool 2 as a hick who encounters Cable (Josh Brolin) when the mutant first arrives from the future

Deadpool 2 arrives on home video Aug. 21, but head down to the gallery below and check out a few of the movies that he's decided to insert himself into. Wow, that sounded dirty. Oh well, when you're talking about Deadpool, it's inevitable...
