Deadpool may be a violent, sarcastic, unstable mercenary with a lot of unheroic qualities, but there is a heart beating under all those scars and leather.
That heart belongs these days to Ryan Reynolds, who is playing the Merc with a Mouth in the currently filming Deadpool movie. So, when a little boy named Tony Acevedo, a kind of superhero, himself, who is bravely battling Hodgkin's Disease, told the Make-A-Wish Foundation that he wanted to meet Deadpool, Reynolds was only too happy to make Tony's dream come true by having the boy visit him on the set.
Tony Acevedo asked Make A Wish Foundation if he could meet Deadpool. I wasn't expecting him to sneak the mask, put on the gloves, smile... and then beat Deadpool about the face, arms and jugular with blazing speed. Tony's next fight is with Hodgkin's Disease. Hodgkin's Disease best be wearing its brown pants. Huge thanks to @makeawishamerica

The images above really do all the talking here, and even though Deadpool, the movie may end up being a little too violent for Tony to see -- it is rated R, after all -- it's likely that he'll remember his day on the set for the rest of his life.
A 15-year-old girl named Calista King also got to come to the set, recently, where she was featured in a scene and even took home one of Deadpool's blades. No matter what else happens between now and the film's opening on February 12, 2016, Reynolds can finish the movie knowing that he's made at least two Deadpool fans very, very happy.
