x-force deadpool 2

Deadpool's looking for a new X-Force recruit and it could be you, so long as you're cool with bee-keeping

After the events of Deadpool 2, Wade Wilson's team of X-Force is in desperate need of members. Bedlam (Terry Crews) smashed into an oncoming bus, Shatterstar (Lewis Tan) fell into a rotating helicopter blade, Vanisher (Brad Pitt) hit a live power line, Zeitgeist (Bill Skarsgård) was pulled into a woodchipper, and Peter (Rob Delaney) had his arm melted off by Zeitgeist's acidic vomit.

Ok, fine, Peter was saved from his amputee fate when Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) went back in time at the end of the movie, but that doesn't change the fact that X-Force needs some fresh blood among its ranks of DP, Domino (Zazie Beetz), Cable (Josh Brolin), and Dopinder (Karan Soni).

As such, the official Deadpool Twitter is asking you to apply for a spot on the team. A propaganda poster, based off the famous "I Want You" Uncle Sam poster by James Montgomery Flagg, will take take you to an application portal, which counts Colossus (Stefan Kapičić), Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand), Weasel (T.J. Miller), Blind Al (Leslie Uggans), and Vanessa (Morena Baccarin) among the X-Force membership. Based on the attire, it looks like you'll get a snazzy turtleneck with your name on it if your application is accepted.

As you'll see in the application form below, applicants will need to be comfortable with (among other things) jumping out of planes, babysitting teenage mutants, and bee-keeping. You should also take a look at the fine print, which absolves Deadpool of anything that might happen to you on X-Force like getting shot, stabbed, and having one's testicles removed by the queen of the underworld.

Wow, this thing is legally iron clad, isn't it?

Once you fill out the application, you are encouraged to post it to your social channels with the hashtag #ApplyToXForce, before practicing your superhero landing.

As far as we can tell, there's no prize involved, although the best forms will probably be retweeted by the Deadpool Twitter and maybe even Ryan Reynolds. In addition, the forms with the funniest answers might even win copies of Deadpool 2 on Blu-Ray, which becomes available August 21.

Even though the sequel's been out since May, it's nice to know that the Deadpool 2 marketing team is still doing all they can to promote this movie.
