It was on this day in 1985 that Brazil premiered. If you haven't given that a watch lately, may we suggest adding it to your list. Written by Terry Gilliam (who also directed), Charles McKeown and Tom Stoppard, it's a rabbit hole of totalitarian dystopia with a Monty Python kick.

Plus it has this amazing scene with Katherine Helmond.

Brazil continues to be screened and celebrated, earning top spots on a ton of "Best Of" lists. If you're lucky, it's showing at an art house near you. Set a Google alert; it's well worth it.

And we have some birthdays to celebrate today. Sarah Silverman was born on this day in 1970 in Bedford, New Hampshire.

Zoe Kravitz was born on this day in 1988 in Los Angeles.

And Richard Pryor was born on this day in 1940 in Peoria, Illinois.

Tomorrow: Lucy Liu.
