Today, December 5th, This Day in Twilight Zone History wishes a very happy birthday to actress Morgan Brittany.

When Morgan was a child actress on The Twilight Zone, she went under her own name – Suzanne Cupito – and made a strong impression in three episodes. In "Nightmare as a Child," she supported fellow child actress Terry Burnham, playing another child in Helen Foley's (Janice Rule) apartment building.

In "Nightmare as a Child," Suzanne Cupito (aka Morgan Brittany) had a brief part as a child in Helen Foley's (Janice Rule) apartment building.

In "Valley of the Shadow," she's Sissy Johnson, daughter of Mr. Johnson (Star Trek's James Doohan), a young girl who makes journalist Philip Redfield's (Ed Nelson) sheep dog Roley disappear with a strange alien device. And in "Caesar and Me," she's Susan the nosy neighbor, a very precocious pre-teen who doesn't like down-on-his-luck ventriloquist Jonathan West (Jackie Cooper).

Journalist Philip Redfield (Ed Nelson) confronts little Sissy Johnson (Suzanne Cupito, aka Morgan Brittany) after he sees her make his dog Roley disappear with a strange device.

Like a number of child actors, Suzanne's career stalled in her teens and she decided to move to New York and change her name. As Morgan Brittany, she found stardom as scheming Katherine Wentworth on Dallas, a show that led to multiple series and TV movie roles.

In real life, she’s married to Jack Gill, a terrific stunt coordinator.

Let's hoist a nice glass of chocolate milk to a child actress who turned it around and became a true television star!
