The first, full trailer for Blade Runner 2049 has finally arrived — and Deckard is back, baby.

The trailer reintroduces us to Ridley Scott's neon-tinged future, though Denis Villeneuve (Arrival) has stepped in to direct this one in Scott's absence. The film stars Harrison Ford, who is reprising his role from the 1982 original, along with Ryan Gosling, Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Lennie James, Dave Bautista and Jared Leto. It's fascinating to see a bit more of the seminal sci-fi world imagined through a more modern-day lens, and it'll be interesting to see what Scott and Villeneuve have cooked up, here.

Here's the film's official synopsis:

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

Blade Runner 2049 opens October 6, 2017.
