Del Rey Books gives sci-fi classics new covers to celebrate its 40th birthday

To help celebrate its 40th anniversary this year, Del Rey Books is releasing a series of science fiction classics dressed up in shiny new covers. Throughout the year this renowned imprint of Random House will roll out a number of fresh wrappings for its roster of speculative fiction paperback masterpieces.  

Here's a look at the first three covers for Philip K. Dick’s Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? (released January 17), Neal Stephenson’s Snow Crash (due April 18) and Dan Simmons' Hyperion (due August 15).
