The North America we know and love has ceased to exist. Or at least that's the case in NBC's Revolution. The series, which takes place 15 years after a global blackout, is part of a different world. And we've got a closer look at it.

On the show, we've seen a map that features the new U.S. The country is no longer divided into states. Instead we have areas like Monroe Republic, Plains Nation, Georgia Federation and something simply called Wasteland.

Each region's looking to expand, maybe even take over the continent. Over at EW, they posted a hi-res photo of Revolution's America. A lot has changed, but isn't it hilarious that after everything that's happened, Texas is still ... Texas?

Revolution airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
