Say so long to Diabolus rex, or D-rex, as it's been known, because the villainous, genetically altered king dino of Colin Trevorrow's Jurassic World has a new title.  Make way for Indominus rex!

Though we've only seen glimpses of the rumored beast in the Jurassic World trailer, no one really knows exactly what the official title of the killer lizard is; the most popular choice until now was the D-rex. This new name change, meaning "Untamable or Fierce King," comes from a leaked document showing an updated product listing of the Jurassic World toy line.  While this scientific name may not be an actual line of dialogue spoken or seen in the actual film, it's nice to know what to call this diabolical dino if we ever see it hungrily rampaging toward our humble homes.  Have a look ...

We'll see whether Indominus rex lives up to his title when Jurassic World opens on June 12, 2015.   Do you like the fearsome new name, or does it really matter when the walls come tumbling down?
