Director Edgar Wright shows off his Star Wars: The Last Jedi cameo

Star Wars: The Last Jedi has wrapped up its stellar opening weekend, which means we're starting to get fun little tidbits about some of the people who made it into the film without any of us realizing it until we saw them on film.

While a couple of royals didn't make the final edit, more than a few well-known folks did, including Baby Driver and Cornetto Trilogy director Edgar Wright, who took to Twitter Monday to show off the nifty cameo.

Wright — along with his brother Oscar, Attack the Block writer and director Joe Cornish, and Baby Driver associate Leo Thompson — suited up as Resistance fighters for friend and general cohort Rian Johnson.

He wasn't the only Hollywood player to snag some screen time in the film, though.

Warning: The Last Jedi spoilers ahead.

Eagle-eyed and IMDb-savvy moviegoers may have also recognized Rogue One director Gareth Edwards, who was just to the right of the salt-tasting soldier in the trench on Crait. You may remember that Edwards gave Rian Johnson a role in Rogue One, so it looks like Rian repaid the favor.

Canto Bight also turned out to be a hotbed of cameo activity. We knew about the alien based on Carrie Fisher's dog Gary, but did you catch The Leftovers' Justin Theroux at the devilishly handsome Codebreaker? Or Game of Thrones actress Kate Dickie as one of the First Order officers reporting to Hux?

There are even more people we've yet to discover, so keep an eye out the next time you see Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
