The charity set videos to promote the “To Boldly Go” campaign are quite brilliant bits of marketing, and the latest clip focuses in on new addition Justin Lin. So what does the director have to say?

The clip features Omaze co-founder Ryan Cummins and Star Trek Beyond director Justin Lin talking up the charity project, which has put some set tours and walk-on roles on the chopping block to help raise some cash for a few good causes. Unlike those previous clips, this one doesn’t show off any mysterious aliens or have the oozing charisma of Idris Elba.

But it does give us our first real look at Lin behind the scenes, and shows off a mysterious explosion that occurs off-camera on what appears to be a corridor of the Enterprise. Check out the clip below and let us know what you think:

The charity campaign is raising funds for Brave Beginnings, Camp Sunshine, Direct Relief International, Heaven Homes, KidsCan, Koreatown Youth & Community Center, Make-A-Wish, Time is Precious and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Star Trek Beyond opens July 8, 2016.
