Only two shows gave us new episodes this week, but one of them was a very momentous episode of Doctor Who, so we're not complaining.
Last week was the week we finally said goodbye to Matt Smith's Eleventh Doctor as the Doctor Who Christmas special, "Time of the Doctor," set another viewership record for BBC America. Meanwhile, Atlantis also got a nice BBC America boost.
Plus, we've updated our show listings below with winter premiere dates for all of our returning shows that will air new episodes between now and the end of March, so take a look to see when your favorites are back.
Check out the numbers and commentary below to see how your favorite shows are doing in Live + Same Day ratings.

Doctor Who (BBCA) 2.47 million viewers/1.0

Matt Smith's final bow as the Eleventh Doctor (and Peter Capaldi's entry as the Twelfth) set another viewership record for BBC America on Christmas Day, breaking the record set back in November by Doctor Who's 50th-anniversary special, "Day of the Doctor," by a few thousand viewers. "Day of the Doctor" still managed to edge out "Time of the Doctor" in the key demo score, holding that record by one-tenth of a point, but "Time of the Doctor" is certainly a victor, especially in the Christmas specials area. The regeneration of Matt Smith led to a 72 percent increase in viewers from last year's Christmas episode. Now the long wait until the fall, when we finally see what Peter Capaldi can do.
