It appears that the new season of Doctor Who is still dealing with leaks. After a nearly minute-long clip featuring Jodie Whittaker in an upcoming episode of the series leaked online, it has been hit with yet another breach.
Shortly after the series announced wrapping on filming the latest season, someone released a photo of the interior of The Doctor’s ship, the TARDIS. Doctor Who production designer Arwel Wyn Jones took to Twitter Thursday to express his anger at the leaked picture (which we are not hosting here, so no worry for spoilers).
“Just found out that there's a leaked photo of the Tardis interior, that alone makes me livid!” Jones tweeted. “The fact that it's a dreadful photo, taken by someone with no hint of artistry & unlit makes me absolutely effing incandescent with rage!”
In a follow-up tweet, Jones said he knew who took the photo, but didn’t disclose their identity. “The great shame is that unfortunately it wasn't a visitor, it was someone I knew!” he wrote.
Although the exterior of the TARDIS has remained relatively unchanged since the show’s inception back in 1963 – that of a blue police callbox from the 20th Century – its interior has constantly changed to reflect the personality of the current Doctor.
News of this leak follows a 53-second clip from the show being briefly posted online last month.
Whittaker is the first woman to take on the role of the Doctor. The new 10-episode season of Doctor Who under new showrunner Chris Chibnall, begins airing this fall.
